We are the first fund dedicated to bringing together the private sector to accelerating the technologies, companies, and participants through a shared, "coalition of the willing" to accelerate the critical technologies for the next generation to ensure that democratic governance maintains an edge and leadership beyond unaccountable, nondemocratic regimes that have repeatedly proven unfit and incapable for principled, global leadership while upholding elemental human rights. Our goal is simple. To enhance America's worldwide technological and geopolitical superiority, and our democratic allies, in critical technology areas where we are ahead, continue to innovate and accelerate the pace and, in technologies where we lag, slingshot critical technologies technology past the technological gap for the betterment of all.

Our nation is at a perilous moment, with a new era of technology change foreshadowing the emerging arms race of technology spending as countries face recognize the real possibility of a multi-generational re-shuffling of the geopolitical order – and lucrative emerging opportunities for venture investing to capitalize on the undeniable and unavoidable wave. The risk is opportunity. And broader awareness is critical.
The Unwillingness to Stand Up has Placed the Geopolitical Democracies at Risk
As the Russian incursion into Ukraine has highlighted, any and all global progress combating carbon and climate acceleration, as well as the broader ESG gains across countries and societies, are at risk when unconstrained state actors make unilateral self-engrandizing decisions that put at risk everything civilized society has and can accomplish. Make no mistake, all the gains and progress focusing on ESG and Climate are now directly in jeopardy without demonstrably accountable, constrained, and reasoned leadership of countries. While only a single example, it exemplifies the broad lesson that democratically-led governments are broadly more capable of being just and fairer environments for all people to achieve their potential. And it is this lesson that we view as our guiding north star, namely, securing democracies as shepherds of the future.
Re-establishing the US, and Allies with Elected Governments, is the Only Way to Secure the Future
We are focused on preserving the safety and security of the causes critical to the next generation. The necessity not only to fix the US technology ecosystem and prepare for cataclysmic shifts (climate change, healthy buildings, education, social entertainment and health) but to make our government and consumers more sophisticated as our public infrastructure and private economy is forced to evolve and innovate. We cannot do this alone and this is why we collectively set out to do our part to help fix the ecosystem as a bridge between the private sector and public sector. We are the first publicly-facing nonprofit venture fund to invest in the causes that will define the future of democracies.
We Are but One of a Single Part of a Collective, All of Whom Feel Responsible for Ensuring Democracy
We cannot do this alone - and do not intend to - and our superpower is in our diversity. Our purpose is singular and specific, to elevate the US through innovation and maintain or restore its technological and startup superiority that has been weakened in recent years by with unaccounatble leadership structures (nondemocracies) that would seek to displace the US on a geopolitical stage and invariably chart a far worse future for humankind.

Cycles repeat view the single principle of human geopolitical failure is one of imagination. We are biased. We admit it. And wear it like a badge. Our views are largely based on our tech venture investing combined with more attenuated geopolitical modeling. This is the basis for our opinionated, unfiltered and unapologetic views of the critical elements for the future. The only thing that we presume is the current status quo is a changing relic of yesterday.
